Initial Contact
You should contact the museum preferably by telephone as early as possible to discuss the date and content of your visit. Whilst we can respond to requests by fax, email and letter, it is usually necessary to finalise dates and details by telephone. You should note that demand is frequently very heavy, so please have alternative dates in mind, when you call. Please advise us at time of booking if your group has any special needs or requirements.

For initial enquiries and bookings contact the museum at

Confirmations
We will endeavour to confirm the details of your school visit by letter, three to four weeks before it is due. Should you not receive this letter please contact us to ensure that we are expecting you on the date you are planning.

Changes
Please advise us before your visit if there are any changes to the arrangements e.g., arrival or departure times, numbers etc., so that we can amend the programme schedules and staff requirements accordingly.

School Cancellations
If you must cancel your programme, you should do so as far ahead as possible and preferably 3-4 weeks in advance. Failure to cancel 3-4 weeks ahead deprives another school of the opportunity to visit. Should there be a last minute emergency please ensure that you telephone the Park as soon as you know and no later than 9.15am on the day of the visit. Our guides are brought in specially for your visit and require payment if we are unable to cancel them before they arrive at the Park. Cancellation fees may apply if the above procedures are not adhered to.

Programme costs
Standard student admission costs apply for most programmes. Some programmes such as workshops and special events have an extra charge to cover materials etc. Visits combining two or more items from the programme are individually priced. Supervising teachers admitted free of charge.

Payment
The group leader may pay by cash, cheque or credit card. Alternatively we can produce an invoice, which should be processed immediately on your return to school. Groups from the Republic of Ireland can arrange to pay by bank draft or sterling cheque. Euro notes are also acceptable - we regret we cannot accept Euro coins.
